I am using and AMD 64. I have that img file too. When I try to boot
things load in and there's checks as usual. Then it gets to "1394 (some
numbers probably ohci 1394) and "< bus 0". Then the machine sits, and sits.
That's it. No motion in the HD or USB stick or anything. I'm not getting
very far. And this is version 7.1.

I think the '1394' is related to the serial bus. Sounds like the system
is hanging. Sometimes it helps to select the no ACPI/no SMP options during
install; see the NetBSD Guide or Install.html on the main www site.

I'd try CURRENT from the NY server as it'll have the latest hardware
support. ALso, you'll get much better advise on hardware issues by posting
questions either to the netbsd-users email list or the #netbsd channel on
irc.freenode.net instead of here.
